Women with Flowers

The portrait project was started in 2010. I invited ladies to pose with flowers and tried to see each lady’s character and find the similarity to their chosen flower. All the photographs connect to one main element- the women posing for these portraits are of Eastern European origin. They are beautiful and strong women who overcome all the difficulties integrating into a different culture and finding their places and being the very important part in the community they are living in now.
